Futuristic art inspired by Blade Runner

Blade Runner is until today one of the most revered fiction movies ever made for the cinema. Besides the magnificent direction of Ridley Scott and the excellent performances of Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer, Blade Runner impresses with futuristic and innovative visual work of renowned designer Syd Mead. Born on July 18, 1933 in Minnesota, United States, Sydney Jay Mead, or simply Syd Mead, became a reference for artists of the new generation for its futuristic design style. Syd made his career in the 1970s as an industrial designer and worked for Ford companies, Philips and Intercontinental Hotels.
